help with Coralife Super Skimmer Model 65

first the felt sock yes it is ugly but as i said earlyer just a prototype to test befor investing money into a end disign

glad to see this thread just ordered one of these from the good doctors last night to go on my 55 with a 10 gallon sump. any skimmer i've seen hob has to be adjusted all the time due to fluctuations in water level. that is what led me to install the sump.

 

Thanks for the pics. I think I found the bag you ordered. Is it the sump inlet bag with the mounting bracket? That looks like it would work perfectly.

I was also thinking about a pre-skimmer box to put the pump in so that it would draw the water from the surface where most of the disolved bad stuff hangs out. I'll see what I can come up with.

Yeah, the bracket was a little pricy IMO. Looks easy to make one.
