help with fungal meds

I don't doubt it'll be non-toxic to inverts. But do you really want to kill off all your ammonia-eating bacteria in your DT? This is likely where people have problems with it in their DT. A potential mega-cycle of doom, if you're decently or fully stocked.

Well I dosed the QT with both Kordon Rid Fungus and Maracyn. Unfortunately the LFS didn't have any Maracyn II. I would have liked to combine them. Now I'm just waiting for the water to heat up and then I'll try to catch the anthias and transfer her. This will be a task!

I wish I could send you my meds! I have both maracyns and maracyn Oxy as well...

 

I really wanted Maroxy, because that's the one for true fungal infections. They didn't have that one either! So now I'm using this natural stuff. I don't know how it will work. I read some good reviews. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm going to dose my DT with it too.

 

I got Maricyn Oxy from petco... Did you try there?

 

I can't get there tonight. I had to go to Petsmart because it's closer. Petco is closed already. I can try tomorrow.

The fungus is so bad, I don't know if it can be treated.

But I'm gonna use the Kordon Rid Fungus in the DT, because it is reef safe and maybe it will help my female flame.
