Help with my hammer coral

    my hammer coral is starting to get black patches on it dous anyone know what it is and what is making it get black patches?

    as of right now i cant bc i dont have a camra on me....but the water is all good earlyer tis week i seen that it fell from were it was could that have damaged it and it made it turn black like that?its not very bad but i just seen it today and i dont want it to get any worse

    It is a bit difficult to know exactly what the problem is without a pic. But from what you described, it may be tissue necrosis. You can use airline tubing to siphon off the dead/necrotic tissue and giving the coral a bath with an Iodine solution like TM Pro Coral Cure or similar product is likely the best way to treat the problem as the iodine will act as an antiseptic and hopefully kill prevent the spread of the tissue necrosis
