I usually resize my images in Photoshop down to about 1200x100 pixels (or whatever) and 150kb in file size. The forum will further shrink the image if needed. I think the file size cutoff is about 200kb. I hope that helps.

Sorry unclejed & reefman1132 .... I admit it. I'm computer illiterate. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to post pics.. ;D

Thanks tigermike74 - I'll still work on redirecting the waterflow & check into lowering the flow rate. You mentioned you use oolitic - I assume I can get this at my LFS?

Yeah, oolitic is pretty common, I got my sand from Marine Depot. I have the luxury of living less than 50 miles away, so I "will-call" my orders instead of having it shipped, which is quite expensive when you consider 100lbs of sand and 50lbs of salt. Oolitic is good for bottom resting animals that have soft bellies, like rays and sharks. :) I bought it for my ray, and because it is good for calcium levels.

O.k. julie, no big deal. Let's go this rout. Here is a pic of my tank, let us know if you have as much, half or whatever the amount of rock that I have; [IMG]

Nice tank unclejed! By size comparison, I have about 3/4 of the amount of LR that you have. The two return flow nozzles (is that what you call them?) are at the top in the middle of the back. The Koralia #4 is on the back glass near the left side, and the Koralia #3 is on the right side on the back glass. Both are about 1/3 of the way from the top.

Well Julie, I am a little puzzled, being 3/4 of the way up shouldn't blow the sand around but it is so try moving them up a little higher as mine are in the pic. (you can barely see the one on the right). If you are not a Photo bucket member, join them. It is easy to upload photos and then use the "direct link" button and use the "mountain" looking button here when you post, or just embed the link.
