    A Newbie here needs help.
This tank will be a Fish and Live Rock only tank.
I have a 46-Bowfront I m not going to use a wetdry filter, I'm trying to decide on a AquaC Remora -OR- a Coralife Super Skimmer (125-gal.model).

In the future I may upgrade to a 100-gal or larger tank.
Which Skimmer is my best overal choice and why ? ?
Would the Coralife perform better ?? & why ? ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated......

For a 100g tank you will need a larger skimmer than either of those. All skimmers are over rated on their tank size ratings. I'm partial to the Remora but would go with the Remora Pro. Its rated at 120g and I'm using one on my 120g FOWLR tank with an upgraded pump. I would definitely not use it in a reef tank that size. The Remora's are set and forget, there is no venturi vavle to clog and clean. They also do not over flow.
There are however, better skimmers but they will cost much more.
    Hope this helps some.

What Raven said about overrating. I'm partial to the Coralife's they will produce darker skim versus a Remora on the same tank. The needle wheel is a far more effective system versus spray injection. There also cheaper. The output mod is the only thing I would suggest on the Coralife and it cost $3.
