help with reef octopus nw-110 2010 model with gate valve

Went to check at 5:00pm and overflowing started to xxxx.me off

 

So i cleaned skimmer of coarse it was time to feed so skimmer lost all head and went back to check on it about 3 hours later made a slight adjustment and got some foam on the lid. So i went over this morning and skimmet was set perfectly lets hope it stays this way even as the neck gets slimed up

 

Made a skimmer stand today your basic eggcrate and pvc. Also put a rubber coupling in the output. Because eversince i raised the output it was shooting over the sponge and into the return chamber creating micros in the display. I can add a pic if you like. Now i have to start over tweaking the skimmer.

 

i made the base of the mecano, is the plastic, the funtion is better, i like this skimmer

 

Yeah I really like it too. Haven't made any adjustments for awhile. Pulling out some nasty stuff

 

you modificate the impeller?
