    I need help with placing my eco modded maxi jet because it pushes around my sand in my 55 gallon.

    do you have the option with that to angle it slightly upwards?

    if you can, some of the power would be reduced as the flow bounces off the water surface, before reaching the far end of the tank, thus the undertow should be more gentle and your sand should stay put better
