Help with sinularia leather

    Hi guys I have a neon green sinularia leather that I got from my LFs about a week ago at the store it was fully open then but since it been in my dt it has not fully open I move it around in my tank a frew times my flow is good I have a 65gal tank with a 1250gph powerhead my lights are 2x 150 mh 4x t5 and 19 led my par are Ph-8.2 no-2 =0 no3=25 NH3=0 kh=8 mag=1350 Cal =480 I have a fulfil canster with 9watt UV what can be wrong please help

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    A hardy coral that sometimes takes a while to acclimate.

    I would put it in an area shaded with mod flow and leave it there. It can also be one of those corals that does not like to be moved and will not fully open for several days after being moved.

    You have a lot of light in that tank, so I would definitely go shaded for awhile and low in the tank.

    Agreed,leathers tend to "get mad" for a while after transfering to another tank and moving it around doesn't help,let it acclimate.Unless you see tissue rotting or decaying off of it,it'll typically be fine once it adjust to your tanks params,lighting,flow,etc.

    Leathers do not like to be touched so it is best to leave it alone for a while until it acclimates.;)
