Help with Skimmer

Hey guys,
Need some help here been in the hobby for many years but always a FOWLR guy and a few polyps and shrooms but thats about it. I recently decided to put a reef tank in the corner of my "manCave" built into the wall. Heres the problem I need a skimmer and want a in sump but I have a space issue, (using a store bought wet/dry) and because its in the corner I cant just simply get a bigger sump. So Im hoping some has some advice on this issue or maybe some mods they have done? Money is not the issue here just space, so Id love all input. Aslo any reviews about the corallife super skimmer? Its about the right footprint? But its so cheap and Ive never know corallife to make and thing but lightbulbs and hydrometers that are quailty? Oh yea and its a 35hex.

 

look at the octopus line of recirculating skimmers. They work great and sit outside the sump
