Try to put them tangs in at the same time and get them at about the same size.

i got talked into a clown tang about 10 months ago. its small only about 3 inches, and thankfully it isnt growing to fast.

i love the fish but i can see that my 90 is going to be to small for it not to long from now. The thing about it and what i have since come to learn about Acanthurus tangs is the amount of "space" they take up. My clown tang never slows down let alone stop. so not only will the fish run out of room, but it alos takes up space i could put other fish into. i bet one Acanthurus takes up the same amount of territory as 3 zebramosa.

I was looking at possibly a powder blue and a purple. Im also looking at lieutenant tang as far as an acanthurus. I was thinking a blue hippo but those get pretty big.

Trust me when the tang gets around 8" long Youll wish you had a bigger tank. Just by how the fish looks in the tank.

I would have gotten a 6 foot tank but the space i had and my mom wouldnt allow it haha. Im thinking of a dogface puffer, niger trigger (maybe), purple tang, one spot foxface, potters angel, flame angel and that about it. I think that sound pretty good, what does everyone else think?

The angels may be a problem even in a 5 foot tank. Be prepared to take one back to the store if they decide to hate each other. Add them at the same time to ease any friction.
