    Hi everyone,

I bought this toadstool about 3-4 weeks ago, and the problem is its not extending its polyps fully. If you see through the pictures thats as much as it extends. Im just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if its sick, and if so, what can I do to help it out? I appreciate any advice.

    Thanks in advance!

    Maudi

Part of their growth pattern is to grow a skin over their polyps and then when the skin sloughs off, the polyps come back out. You might want to increase flow over the head of the toadstool to help it slough off it's skin.

    +1 on Inwall for me

    IMO
the picture is 2D and so I cant be sure - but that K seems to be pointing directly at it
now it may be to the front or behind , but due to 2D image I cant tell

they like a decent amount of flow over them, but would close down if the PH was pointed
straight at them from that distance IME

probably a fine line between enough amd too much. could try just droppin it down in your scaping too. toadstools are hardy and you might just have to find its sweet spot.
