Help With Turf

    Alright not a newb, but anyways iv noticed i have turf algae on one of my rocks, Im just going to bleach it. Im going to use 1 cup of bleach and two cups of water. After i bleach it How long should i let it sit before adding to my tank?

    id use muriatic acid.... not bleach

    :( Too late, its sitting in bleach and water right now. When im done should i let it sit,? in new sw, Or dry or what?

    oh just one peice, its about a pound. I didnt want to algae to spread and it was growing crazy. didnt want to risk this nasty stuff to spread.

    If you want to be really careful, let it sit in bleach over night, the next day rinse it off and soak it in water and baking soda over night, then let it air dry over night again. After that, you should be good to go.
