    i need some help identifing some new critter i found in my tank. i was gonna change the carbon filter for my saltwater tank but when i took it out there seemed to be little black "C" chaped larvae looking critters on it bouncing around. what should i do with them?

    Without a pic it's hard to say what they are, but if they are in the carbon they are elsewhere in the tank too... frankly sounds like food for your other critters :)
