    Ammonia burn happens mostly along the gills area but can be elsewhere. They look like black scars or bumps and isn't good, it causes a lack of appetite rapid breathing and can lead to bacterial infections. It's best to qt the fish and treat it with medication.

    I can't see the pic so I'm going off older posts so it may not be ammonia burn...

    Not ammonia burn. My bloods did the same thing. Never seemed to bother them at all. Seems more like a color change of sorts. Which they will do as they get older. Here's a little more info. Hope it helps :) Don't worry, it's not sick!

    I've seen this happen to dozens of parrots as they get older, it's nothing to worry about. More often you see it in the parrots that are dyed all those different colors.
