Hello I have a 40 gallon tank with a juvenile emperor angelfish and a yellow tang.
I was wondering how much food I should give them? I have frozen shrimp.

    Thanks

I believe the rule of thumb is to give as much as they eat in under a minute. You can put a little bit, if everything is eaten up, give a little more. Also, at least for angelfish, you'd need foods containing algae, "angelfish preparations" and such. I'm not familiar with tang's diet... I do believe they like more space, something like 100+g

    YT's need a 48 x 18 min footprint
    Emperor's need a 72 x 24 min footprint.

They will both eat frozen shrimp or any frozen fish food and or pellets.
They will both need algea sheets in there diet.
Feed only what they can eat in a few minutes and the sheets leave in the tank for a few hours.
I would really consider rehoming them if I was you. Both will get too large for a 40 in a short ammount of time.
