    ;D Ive had my aquarium up and running for 6 months now and now im getting a yellow growth on my reef how can i get rid of it.

    What kind of a growth is it. Hairy, fuzz, slime coat?

    Odds are you have excess nutrients in you tank and increased water changes will aid in the removal. I assume you lights are also 6 months old?

    How much filtration and what kind do you employ?
    Try decreasing the amount of food you are feeding...
    water change as Jason mentioned will always help.
    How large a bioload do you have?
