I have something on my rocks. Sorry I can't take any pic but I will describe it the best I can.

They look like anemoies several of them on the rocks and a couple are on the glass. They are white and if I touch them they close up into the rock like an anemonie.
My tank is empty right now I'm getting it ready to go reef. My Nitrates are thru the roof over 200. (I stired a 3inch sand bed that had the waste of a trigger and grouper for over 2years).
So I plan to remove the sand I know I may have another cycle. But all other levels are fine.

    Am- 0
    Salenty - 1.024
    Ph- 8.0
    nitrite-0
    nitrate- 200

    Its a 55-gallon 30lbs lr 3 inch ls
    wet dry with bio balls

Do anyone have any idea what this is on my rocks and how to get rid of it if it is bad.
