    idk man its really ticking me off. not to mention i have to go back to school next weekened and all my fish seem like they are on their way out. Maybe i should just take them back to the store and try this another time

    who would look after your tank while you are away?
    they do require regular maintenance as you know

    taking the fish out may be a good act of kindness on your part, but then again the additional stress may not help either

    I would suggest a sample of your water to the LFS and get everything checked out

    Well everything in the dt died last night. I really don't have time to deal with this anymore. I'll have to do this again when I have more time.

    im very sorry about your turn of events. it seems you have the desire it takes, but as you said maybe its just not the time. whenever it is time, involve us from the get go and im sure the results will be different. again very sorry>

    Yeah thanks alot. I just don't have the time to fine tune everything before I leave and I just don't see it lasting unless I am home to care for it.

    So when I took back what was left of the living livestock the guy at the lfs said that it may have had something to do with an electric shock or something like that.
