    You can use the plain old garlic juice from the grocery store. Then just soak the food in it before feeding.

    I really hate to go against mainstream but everyone should know it.

    "Just feed the fish well and/or feed it garlic and it will be okay."

    Untrue. I compare this approach to this one: "Granny has pneumonia. Let's keep her home rather than take her to the hospital. We'll feed her well with chicken soup and vitamins -- and lots of garlic." Nutrition, foods, garlic, vitamins don't cure an infected fish. An infected fish is sick and is being tortured by the itching and discomfort. Don't let this happen to the fish. Cure it!!"

    Its a nice article but only 1 point of view. I went off of what many 3reefers with many many years of personal experience told me and guess what? It has worked like a charm.

    The problem with moving all his fish into a 20gal is they will be overstocked, in cramped spaces, put upon by alot of extra stress. Just moving the tang; stress and when he moves back in he can get reinfected. If he starts degrading thats a different story.
