I am looking for an algae eating/herbivore fish.
I already have a blue and pink spotted goby, a dragonet, and 2 clowfish.
I have a 55 gallon tank and want somethign that is coral and invert compatible as well as compatible with my other fish.
    Any suggestions would be helpful

55 gallons is going to be too small for a tang though. I heard a rainfardi goby eats algae like a vacum but I also believe they are rather hard to keep.

Lawnmower blenny or some other kind of blenny. I have one and he algae like crazy all day, never seems to get tired. There are all different kinds from the plain lawnmower variety to starry to red and green spots. your choice.

I don't want the fish to clean up my algae I just want a herbivore.
So blennies should get along with my current list of fish.

If you serious about this hobby then your sure to upgrade, get urself a baby sailfin tang and let it go to town, my stupid tang wont stop pecking at algae from morn to night and plus tangs have goofy personalities. Im in the process of finding him a bigger tank so he has more room to swim. Blennies are damn good at cleaning up to but really consider of havign a bigger cuc cuz a single fish wont impact it to a point were it will be that noticeable.
