i have been running a corallife 65 gallon super skimmer on my 55 gallon reef for a couple months now. since i saw a little bit of ich on a fish i recently introduced, i underdosed the tank with herbtana once and immediately the skimmer went out of control and wouldnt stop bubbling and overflowing! i put the skimmer on the lowest setting possible but it did nothing. it has been 2 weeks since i dosed the tank with 3 ml of herbtana and the skimmer still doesnt work properly. what do i do?

also, i was using an algaecide before i dosed the tank with herbtana. the bottle says not to use an algaecide with it. how can using both harm my tank?

I would run some carbon in your filter to take out the herbtana if your done with it and then do a 20 percent water change. If you use algaecides and herbtana at the same time it means there is a lower percentage of dissolved oxygen content in your water. And if none of these work then give your skimmer a deep cleaning.
