    Well my friend has this frag and was going to give it to me.....I'm not very well in iding anything so I was wondering what this coral is....I think it is some type of polyp but I'm really not sure so if anyone knows excacly what this is please let me know and any information on them will be very appreciated......thanks for all the help so far...O will a bristle worm mess with this thing?

    those look like typical zoas/palys. are you looking for like a trade name?
    bristleworms don't mess with healthy corals, they will eat dead/dying/decaying coral matter.

    just look up zoanthids in general- as to the actual name of that specific variety, you would find several different "names" that people have coined them- fact of the matter is that they're still zoanthids.
