    Hello my name mike. So here it goes im currently in the Coast Guard stationed here in Virginia my son wants to do a saltwater aquarium so I say ok, I will do this with you. I bought a coarlife 29 stock as of now but have boughten some upgrades like stevesled, ordered intank media basket and tunze protien skimmer. Now for here we go again about 6yrs ago my wife and I tried the saltwater thing with little help from our lfs with ultimate failure and wasted money. This time I have spent numerous hour on fourms researching and I think were ready for round two with help from here and a local club. So standby on the fourms for questions because I know they will becoming through.

    Welcome to 3reef. Unfortunately a lot of LFS's are just trying to make a buck and give bad advise and it can make people give up on saltwater because of it. Forums and Local clubs are the only place to get info IMO.
