Well this is like no other critter that ever appeared in my tank. It comes to a tank that is 2 years mature and all of a sudden here he is. Mabey he came in on a coral but its been months.

Ok he only comes out after lights out. He is about 1/8th inch long and scurries very fast when the lights come on. Doesnt look like any pod ive ever seen and I have a refugium full of them. He is pink in color I think. The most intresting thing is he scurries around so fast in smooth semi-circles till he finally ducks for cover. What the heck is it? Some type of shrimp? I took these pictures with a flash in the dark so the stupid camera did not focus that great. Yes I tried to manual focus but im not a great photographer. If you cant see where he is I will circle him.

No its not the worm. There is a bristle worm in the pic but thats not the critter I am talking about. Mabey I need to circle it. Its really small.

You see it...its on the darker patch of purple coraline. If you see the two pics it is moving and is not in the same place. And this sucker is fast.

Here is a drawing. Its the best I can do. The this part is the tail end. This guy scurries almost too fast to see. If it diddnt do circles when I turn on the light I would never see it.

With a better pic, I'm sure you'll find it to be a mysid shrimp.
