Hermit and snail question

    That't bad to hear since I've got about 20 of 'em. I just noticed one of my red tipped hermits showing off his big, new, margarita snail shell. :eek:

    In my opinion...snails are more efficient in the long run...they dont kill each other. With hermits, they might be very good at getting algae and eating left overs...but they dont last as long as snails. I have had about 7 mexican turbo snails in my tank for 3 years...and i now have about 5 hermits left...origonally i had around 30.

    Today, I found my Banded Coral Shrimp munching on one of my hermit crabs. So, it's not just the crabs that eat each other. (I hope it wasn't the Electric Blue Hermit. I liked him.)
