Does anyone know anything about breeding hermits? One of my hermits has backed itself into some GSP's and wont come out. Its all fine and well. I tried moving it and it just crawled right back to the same exact spot. The only thing I could come up with is maybe it is guarding eggs?
    Any thought?
    TIA all

one of my blue-legged hermits is doing the same thing...... I figured it's just found some type of food it' don't want to share. Even when the worms get close, it charges the worms then goes back to the GSP ...

    lemme know eh?

This thing has not moved for almost 2 days though, so I figure it would have finished its meal buy now, lol. I tried moving it, but its gripping the GSP's pretty good and I dont want to force it. Ill keep you updated though

I have some hermits that stay in some of the smaller holes in my rocks, I dunno what they are doing. They are probably dead though.

I wonder if you can buy baby hermit shells lol.

    OK...
No this isnt a dark spot. Its right up on top of my reef, even in a higher flow area. I dont think its really trying to hide, its more like its guarding something
