When I bought my tank it came with a hermit crab that has gotten pretty aggressive. I have an extra 10 gallon tank I was thinking about putting him in but not sure what to put in with him that he won't kill. Please help

Can you post a pic? Some larger species are predators and will eat mostly anything they can kill. They can also get quite huge.

I think he might be a zebra hermit from the research that I've done

what color is he, does he have hairy legs? I've heard most of the hermits with hairy legs are quite aggressive and grow large. Now this is just speculation but still could be valid.

Yes this is true, although not all large, aggressive species have hairy legs. :)

I doubt you have a true zebra, as they are a tiny, reef-safe species. (Because of the large number of hermits, the naming conventions in the SW hobby world leave a lot to be desired). If it's tan or beige with stripes running the length of the legs, it would be a striped-leg which fits the large, aggressive category.
