    @ Craig/Mr. "G"

Am getting concerned about lack of algae (for a change) in recently transfered to new tank for existing inverts.

No sign of at all - one small patch of diatoms, that was quickly dealt with by inhabitants.

What is a good algae "supplement" I can safely kept them fed with till tank can get up to speed? - or should I just try "overfeeding" rest by a bit for while?

    THX,

Don't worry, if there are sufficient nitrates and phosphates, the algae will grow.  I wouldn't add anything as that defeats the purpose.  If there aren't a lot of nitrates or phosphates thats a good thing. The hermit population will survive on any leftovers when you feed.

Don't overfeed for your crabs and such the payoff isn't worth the risk. As Craig said they will survive on leftovers. They also will be doing the work where you don't see them like under and behind the rock wall.

Huh, I sure thought I posted more pics in this thread. I'm positive I posted a pic labelled "any given sunday" of a electric blue neon hermit with a Bali cat eye turbo in the background squaring off. Guess I'll need to repost it.
