    I looked into my tank this morning and thought my Hermit crawled out of its shell and died, but its still alive and kicking in its shell. I assume it molted. Now what do I do with its molt? Leave it in there? Take it out?

    you can leave the molts in there. if i remember correctly, like a calcified skeleton and is beneficial in a small way.
