thanks for the advice all. i was thinking a bubble tip anemone would be the best anemone for my tank. i hear they are easy to keep and wont get too out of control as long as you allow the clowns to do the feeding. Do you think i should get the anemone first, then add the pair of clowns, then introduce some corals? I would take adequate time between additions to allow the tank to stabilize and ensure everything was acclimated correctly. any advice would be great. thanks!

Bavs, Please do all the research on Anemones that you can. Read all the studies on them, and please reconsider getting one. They take hundreds of years to grow and multiply. We are taking them, in their infancy, and killing them, in their youth. Their life span is greatly shortened, when taken from the wild. I ashamedly have killed 3. By no means on purpose, just negligence and ignorance on my part, which is why I try to steer people away from them. Clown fishes will survive quite nicely, without them. Sorry to go on, and really I don't mean to preach, but, we need to start somewhere, conserving.......just doin my part.....

    Salutations and welcome.

BTA good choice for starter anemone...but really should wait 6 mos or a year before adding.

Tank params really will not be stable till then.

    Good Luck!
