    hey kids!
new to the whole forums thing but i accept that my knowledge is embarrassingly finite in the realm of reef keeping. i therefore come, hat in hand, and humbly ask for your advice and wisdom.

i am currently running a 50G tall with a Fluval 304, two koralia2's and a koralia1, Current t5's and Current PC's with lunar lights. I have approx 80+ lbs of live rock with live sand bed and cheato in the back. the current inhabitants are as follows:

    two clowns (Dinky and Boomer)
    coral beauty (Rajesh)
    diamond goby (Moo Shu)
    sixline wrasse (Leonard)
    brittle star (Barney)
    peppermint shrimp (unnamed)
obligatory janitorial staff: narcissus snails, astereas, hermits, asterina stars (LR bonus!)

    frogspawn
    various mushrooms
    daisy polyps
    buton polyps

i'm looking to give some mangroves a try as well as picking up a sun coral. the main goal of the whole tank is to eventually be able to handle a green mandarin. let me know if you have any good fuge tips!

thanks for taking the time! check out the vid (old lights)

Welcome to 3reef! I really like that 50 tall. What are the dimensions of it and was it custom? Very Nice!

if it was custom, i sure didnt to it. it was a craigslist special. best guess to dimensions is approx 30H x 22W x 18 D. i like it because its just a little off the norm. the three year plan is to turn it into a display refugium with sea horses or pipefish. i gotta lot time on my hands...
