yea my dad got that, i think its something that inserts itself as a rerouting script just on any web page. becareful some versions can be caught in firefox too.

basically reinstallation of windows was the only way i found to get rid of it. theres a work around with firefox theres script blocker extension, and you can block reroutes to specific sites, the virus is still there it just can route to those sites.

I'm a heavy gamer so Windows is a must, but I still run a dual boot with linux so I don't feel like I'm selling out all the time. It was a real pain to set it up with Vista initially.

firefox is ok. I have used it for years, but now I use chrome, its a little buggy yet.

The problem with firefox is it does not come with plug-ins that it should have. It is a pain to hunt down all the plug ins you need to use pretty much any website.

IE for the fail. I do have an IE rendering engine extension in my firefox for the websites that require IE (mostly intranet work sites).

I tried Chrome and immediately got virus attack and had to reinstall system. Not to mention Chrome sucks on dual monitor platforms - won't allow 'throw' extensions as far as I can tell. Not a chrome fan.

Windows is a must for me games. Vista fails. I use XP.

really you already got a virus on it? i was pretty impressed in the hacking contest to hack all three browsers the fastest. the hackers said chrome whould be harder to crack since it is in a closed off state from the rest of the pc. so you need two cracks, one to get you in chrome then one to get you into the computer.

i guess they saved all the good vulnerabilities for high paying jobs
