hey guys help id'ing new coral

    I picked this guy up from my favorite 14.99 tank lol...they usually have baby stuff in that tank and I enjoy watching them grow. anyway this looked like a torch then the closer i got it looked like a hammer. When the LFS guy put his hand in the tank it hid and we couldn't determine what it is....maybe a hybrid?

    I hope so!!! i always wanted a hammer some of the heads looked like a torch and when i took a closer look some looked like hammers. It finally came out today and well you guys saw it. I hope it's a hammer!! any of you guys have experience with them? i know they are somewhat aggressive.

    Definitely aggressive. Sweeper tentacles are extended at night, up to 6 inches, stinging any other corals they can reach. You will need to give it plenty of space.
