    You're welcome.
If you already have the skilter, go ahead and use it.
What little info I found on it says that it is tempermental, and that you should add a needle valve to the air line so you can adjust the air input to minimize microbubbles returning to your tank.

Siddique, it is very important you know exactly what you wanna shoot for. The reason I say this is because the filtration depends on the type of setup you want. For FOWLR, a wet/dry is good, but for reef the best filtration is refugium. Wet/dry will work great for reef, but once you learn and really get into to it, your gonna be hitting yourself in the head for not going a certain route; you're gonna end up spending lots of $$$ in the long run.

What I would do first is window shop first, look around fish shops. Find out what you really want, fish, reef, etc. Then, depending on what you get, research filtration for the desired setup: filter, skimming, etc. Also look into the lighting for the setup, which is best.

    RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH! ;D

I had a skilter and it doesn't work that well. You are better off getting another small skimmer(ie. Seaclone or Prizm) which aren't very expensive, but you will have better luck as far as added fractionation.
