    well any 1 that has seen my threds b4 i have a 55 gal tank just not set up yet slowly getting there but im gonna take my money off that till i can save for my final pices so im gonna start the 10g nano project so a 50 watt heater and a 200 peguin biowheel filter should be good 20 pounds live sand 20-25 pounds rock 3 corals and 2 clows sound good just something little and also a power head maby nano protein skimmer any suggestions ???

    These would be my suggestions:


    20-25 pounds of rock might be a bit much in a 10 gallon. 10-15 might be a better number, depending on how dense the rock is.

    The penguin isn't really necessary. Neither is a skimmer if you just do some water changes. 2 gallons a week would probably do it.

    Use at least a Koralia 1 powerhead, or a pair of Koralia nanos.

    Two clowns should be the MAXIMUM number of fish. I myself would have only one, for the first six months at least.

    Oh, and 20lbs of sand is going to be more than you need. A 10 gallon is too shallow for a DSB, so any more than it takes to cover the bottom is just taking up room that would be better used for holding WATER.

    thanks sounds good but but the filter would make em feel better and i got 1 brand new for 10 bucks lol but thanks so much ill post pics wen i get it set up prolbythis weekend if i get off work
