    Hello to all hope everyone can teach me I had a salt water tank about 8 years ago and loved it just started a new tank And for the life of me cant remember some of the things I did to have a great tank ( I do know I had a wet and dry system).I set new tank up that way but smaller tank only a 75gal tank Im get brown algee cant remember if thats good or bad lol I have had damsels in the tank for 2 weeks and wow that was quick is that normal lmao
    well that my life story on my fish like music love the blues went through all the other dont like country cant stand rap well that my story and I'm stickin to it

    Welcome to 3reef! I always welcomed the brown algae when cycling. It means things are doing what they are supposed to. You don't really need to be running lighting right now with the exception of the actinics. That will help with the brown diatom algae.
