Hi 3reef, my name is Gaston, I'm from Costa Rica. I started with a 42 gallon tank back in december 2009, now I'm up to a 90 gallon, I got bit by the reef bug real bad.

    Hi!

I don't believe you've had any tanks what so ever. I need proof of the photographic nature to be convinced :)

We like pictures here at 3reef if you can't tell

For those of you joining us that are new to the hobby - the best piece of advice you'll get around here as a saltwater newbie is 3Reef's slogan
    "Go slow, let it grow."
And for those experianced hobbyists joining us - it's still good advice :p
good luck and post pics soon :)

Thanks for the welcome, pics from the tank will come soon

Thanks, for the moment just fish and soft corals, I'm in the process of upgrading equipment so please bear with me

    lol, i see that now

    Thanks, yes you will

    Thanks

    Thanks

Thanks. Yeah I know, I didn't think so at the beginning but now I believe it. Also the fact that I am in Costa Rica and the stores here have to get their stuff shipped from mostly the states, and then it is taxed, and the stores have to make their profit and so on and so on. If my memory doesn't fail me one of the stores had one of the reef octopus skimmer thats is rated for 200 gallons at 400,000 colones (our coin), which is about $750, so you guys can get an idea.
