Hi All New To Hobby

Hi all im steve very new to saltwater but very interested, have been doing lots of researching about different types of equipment, i have many questions to ask and hope you guys can help me along my journey.

I have been saving for sometime now and have a fair bit of money to spend the tank i am getting is a custom build of my own from a local manufacturer of aquariums, it is due sometime soon and will post pics up when it arrives. The tank size is 60"x24"x24" (495 Litres or 109 Gallons) with a sump size of 39"x18"x17" (103 Litres or 22 Gallons) it also comes with stand and hood well my first question would be, im looking at getting LED lighting for my reef tank but unsure of which ones to get and how many? if you guys can help it would be much appreciated.

Also im from the UK so equipment differs a little bit from country to country.

 

Sorry I can not help out with LED recommendations, but welcome to 3reef and congratulations on the new tank, it sounds very nice.

 

thx corailline for the reply im still unsure on the water pumps and heaters as many people say so many different things about them how bigger heaters and water pumps would you suggest?
