My name is Michael and I currently have a 72 gal freshwater tank for about a year and a half. Well now I've invested in a BioCube 14 which I dont regret at all. Saltwater is way different than fresh, but I love it.
Right now I have about 15lbs of rock in my tank 5 lbs of purple and just trying to grow algae and bacteria. The guy from the LFS gave me some bacteria out of his sump so hopefully this will work.
I'm very new to this but have done my research.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That is an excellent start.

You will probably have to rehome the Damsel to keep other more passive fish. In my experience with that particular type of Damsel I have found them to be extremely aggressive to any new introductions. A beautiful little fish but best kept in much larger tanks where potential victims have a chance to retreat.
