    HELLO ALL.... not quite sure wot to say but im setting up a new marine tank, ive put 3 pieces of living rock in my tank but after one week my rocks seem to be turning brown...there is also green growth ...but also on the floor there seems to be mould growing....is this normal....
    all my temp ..ph ..alk..nitrite readings are normal....
    mybe im just worrying for nothing ....please advise......

    Welcome to 3reef... Ware all your questions will be answered... :D You asked about your tank going threw algae.. That is normal its part of the cycling processes... You could probably get a good clean up crew once your brown algae is gone... How big is your tank and how many lbs of LR do you have?? You should post some pics!! ;)
