    IMO, I think actual dry rock from;

    Are way better options. The actual dry rock seemingly has TONS more surface area than this rubber stuff, so your bio filter wil be a lot bigger, and will be able to home many more little critters like pods, worms etc. Which very shortly will become LR with the addition of a few pounds from your LFS.

    Plus it seemed like the piece in the video kept wanting to float away. This lack of weight to the "rock" would concern me. A turbo snail, urchin, fish etc could probably knock this stuff over pretty easily, and thus harm corals.
