Hi everyone. I was last on this forum in 2007 but I am back. Back then I had a huge tank crash due to a long power outage in my area. I basically gave up after that. Well, I have been thinking of giving it another go but want to learn more before making the decision!

Hi! What size tank were you thinking of? Corals? Any particular fish you want to keep?

Thinking of going 90 gallons. Last tank was a 55 gallon tank. I think I would like SPS and LPS corals. Not too sure on the fish side of things yet.

I see you learned from the 55 that you need at least 18" width ;) A 90 is a wonderful size to get back in the hobby with.

I would keep your eye on craigslist and see if anything local pops up. Some people on this forum have gotten some ridiculously good deals (such as a 180 for $50!). I just bought a 75% complete 125 system (just missing some plumbing, wavemakers, and a heater) for $300, which I thought was damn good.
