    I just started my hobby. I'm from Hawaii and it is next to impossible to start up a reef aquarium. We are not allowed to have live marine life shipped into Hawaii. This includes live rock, live sand, etc. We also can't collect most marine life right here in Hawaii so you can see that I have my work cut out for me to set up a reef system. I have started but I have a very long road ahead. I'll be looking for answers here to help me.

    Yeh, I remember that. What island are you on? When I visited last, there were a couple shops here and there that had live rock for sale as well as some livestock, no corals that I saw though.
