    I've been lurking this site for about a month, since I set up my 30gallon reef. It's simple now, 15 pounds or so of live rock and a couple chromis. Recently discovered a red mythrax hitchiker along with the porcelain crab and emerald crab hitchikers I have. First two weeks tank grew brown stringy cyano everywhere but it's cleared up for the most part. Nice to be around a bunch of fish geeks. Check out my "Should I Buy This?" thread on the lighting forum and give me advice.

    No pics yet, waiting on a friend to bring his digi cam over.
    I'm from Central New York. A little town about fifteen minutes from Syracuse.
    I work at a Pet Store that doesn't sell saltwater fish but they've always piqued my interest so I'm getting into the hobby.
