    Hi everyone.

I have a 125g fish only tank now but will be adding some soft corals soon. In the past with me and my wife working and commuting long hours my tank maintenance was shall we say... a bit skecthy. Now that I've been a stay at home dad for around a year I've turned over a new leaf and feel that I can take proper care of a reef tank.

I started off about five years ago with a 50g hex tank and then added a 30g. About 3 years ago I combined both of those into the 125g and that is my only tank as of now.

I have a yellow tang, 12 chromies, a coral beauty, 2 yellowtail damsels,a orange diamond goby, 3 clownfish, a regal tang, a sand sifting starfish and some hermit crabs and snails.

Checked out a few forums and this looked like the most active so here I am.

For those of you joining us that are new to the hobby - the best piece of advice you'll get around here as a saltwater newbie is 3Reef's slogan
    "Go slow, let it grow."
And for those experianced hobbyists joining us - it's still good advice :p

Definitely sound advice. Can be hard to not buy every pretty fish or coral that me or my wife see. Somehow though we have been able to restrain ourselves (being on a single income budget helps ;D ).
