    Outer Banks (OBX), NC
    I reside in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, locally called OBX. I have had small fresh water aquariums, 30 gallons, for many years. Thought I would make a quantum leap to a reef system. I don't have enough specific knowledge to make an informed decisions on all the "stuff" that goes into a reef system, so I purchased a RedSea Max 250 and will trust their judgment, keeping my fingers crossed. I will be searching this wonderful database for help and suggestions and hopefully avoid upcoming pitfalls.

    Is there anyone in my area that has started a reef club or mite be interested in starting one??

    Thank goodness the tourist season is only about 3 months in duration, saw a t-shirt the other day, "If it's tourist season, why can't we hunt them?"
