    Hello, Everyone!

I joined the forums to see if I could contact eshopps via the forums. These forums are great!

I have an 8 year old 65g mixed reef, complete with a Vortech MP40W, NEP 36" T5's, and a broken Eshopps PSK 100-H skimmer. It's my baby (other than my 3 real babies!).

I look forward to poking around and enjoying the hobby with everyone!

    Thanks!

I see you have an Aqua C skimmer. What type is it? Do you like it? I've heard mixed reviews and am thinking of getting the Remora Pro if I can't get the skimmer I have fixed.

It's pretty heavy. It's a 65 g with about 125# LR. I've got quite a few SPS, a huge Kenya Tree, Rics, mushrooms, tons of zoas and palys, clams, 5 fish, a coral banded shrimp, pep shrimp, cleaner shrimp, 2 emerald crabs, hermits and snails, a brittle star...

I feed pretty heavily, too, so I need a skimmer that can keep up. I would do a sump, but I do not want to tear down the tank to drill it...WAY too much work and besides, whenever I do something drastic like that, it breaks something and then I'm sad! :)

then i would definatly go with a larger skimmer

i have seen some good reveiws on this one Reef Octopus Hang on Back Protein Skimmer BH-300F
and it should be enght to handle your tank and bioload for about the same price :)
