    You can have a fair bit in your 34gal mate I only have have a few fish/coral in my 35gal cause i cant make up my mind on what i want in it !!!!:)

    Glad everything is working out so far! As for the water...it is up to you as far as convenience is concerned whether you want to go to the pet shop to get water, or have it delivered or you could buy a RO/DI filter anytime!
