    i have an aquapod 24 i i was thinking to sut up a 20 gallon sump underneath it. so my question is i have a spare mag 5 would that be to much of a return pump?

    I would use it, why spend the money on a new pump. If the flow is directly too strong, add a second nozzle on the return.
