    hi i just bot some colarpa and it came iwth something tha look like a pray mantis:eek: it is barry tiny aboute tha size of a penny long and is very skiny i havent put it in jet istill in the bag i am not relising till i get some imfo what hell is it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused:

    well thats what tought but is to small and is hook to ta plant so it makes its living in it its very very small it look just like a land mantes

    there are many different types of mantis shrimp with different style pinchers, some are just like praying mantis arms, my money is on that,

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my god i made the mestake of openign the bag in my main tank i bout the two tipes of calerpa the grape calerpa and brachypus calerpa and now i have i have countet 4 mantes shrimp there 1/2inch sea slogs a lot to many to count i have about 8 aptacia anenome i sow some pods all this came in the calerpa if i wast toll that all this pest was going to came with tha calepa i wood of rince it in salt waterbefor putin in the tank !!!!!!! or i my just over reacting

    your over reacting for now about the mantie, they are to small to hurt any of your fish for now im guessing since they came in caluerpa.
    you have plenty of time to setup traps for them if you wish to remove them. theres a chance even if you leave them alone they wont hurt your fish, but theres also a chance they will.

    the sea slug may need to be removed if there nudis since they can eat corals

    no sorry my camera is very bad in taking pic i have to by a new one soon but they are mantes i see one suiming from the colarpa to the rocks they are aboute 4of them i am doing a reef set up this thing better not herm anything or i will take rebange!!!!!!! i all so have aptecia anenome that came with tha colerpa is the ok to well for that i dont realy care i am gering butrfly fish any way
